Wrought Iron Great White Shark Tooth
Made from an anchor chain link of wrought iron circa 1800, this Great White shark tooth is modeled after a fossilized tooth found off-shore of the North Carolina coast. Wrought iron is minimally processed and refined and contains a higher amount of impurities compared to modern steel. When precision ground and finished the impurities and air-gaps are accentuated and show as fine grain and organic cracks.
The tooth has been sealed using UV resistant and waterproof chemical sealant to combat rust and deterioration.
Tooth dimensions: 1.14” x 1.57”. Wire wrap is .925 Silver Wire.
