Damascus Great White Shark Tooth
Made from 192-layer Damascus Steel using a 15N20 Nickle Alloy and 1084 High-Carbon Steel forge welded together to create a composite steel. This billet is then forged, drawn to length, cut, stacked, and rewelded until the desired layer count is reached. Once the tooth is finely ground, the steel is chemically etched to display the layers and pattern. Lastly, the tooth is protected using a chemical sealant resistant to water and UV light. This Great White Shark Tooth is modeled after a fossilized tooth found off-shore of the North Carolina coast.
Tooth dimensions: 1.40” x 1.16”
