Damascus Megalodon Shark Tooth
Made from a billet of canister Damascus, the contents are forge welded together to create a composite steel. This billet is then forged, drawn to length, cut, stacked and rewelded until the desired pattern is reached. The tooth is then rough-forged to shape and ground by hand. Once the tooth is ground and sanded, the steel is chemically etched to display the layers and pattern. The bail in the tooth is .925 sterling silver. Lastly, the tooth is protected using a chemical sealant resistant to water and UV light. This Megalodon Shark Tooth is modeled after a fossilized tooth found off-shore of the North Carolina coast.
Tooth dimensions: 1.6” x 1.03”
